The goal of the assignment was to design a poster for an Engineering Design Competition on campus. I chose to use a diagonal grid as a guide for the entire piece.

The client was a young law student applying for an externship. To stand out from her peers, she requested that I design a business card to go with her resume. Simple and fun elements such as the lines and cut-off text were added to draw attention to her name.
Miracolo Hotel is a high-end luxury hotel built on the edge of Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan. The challenge was to design an identity package that reflected the combination of vintage and modern furnishing used through-out the hotel. The stationary set was kept minimal in an effort to draw attention to the logo.
Chantal Claire is a high-end cosmetic company based in Taipei, Taiwan. For their spring season, the company decided to market their products to a younger demographic. Drawing inspiration from fabric patterns, I added subtle stripes in the background to bring the piece together.
The assignment was to design a cover for a book of our choice. I opted for a playful, visual interpretation of Haruki Murakami's "A Wild Sheep Chase". A detailed floral pattern can be seen on the sheep's coat in the printed version.

The clients wanted to deviate from their usual corporate image and showcase a new line of designer plates. This project was a collaboration with one other designer whom contributed the photographs and cover design. I was responsible for the lay-out of the interior pages (including table of contents) and photo-retouching the products.
The assignment was to demonstrate a strong use of photo-manipulation. The original photograph was of my mom dressed in men's clothing while sitting in a lounge chair. I digitally enhanced the setting and retouched her face to give her the appearance of an old man.
Topmost is a distributor of crystal and glass awards. The cover design draws attention to the elegance and fine detailing of the crystal's cuts and refraction through the use of repetition.
